From family owned restaurants and fishing businesses to local contractors, retail shops, tradesmen, first responders and municipal workers, and Main Street storefronts, hardworking people across our communities are being squeezed by rising costs, endless regulations, inflation, taxes, and policies written by people who have never signed the front of a paycheck.
Every year, more small businesses close their doors. Some are forced to lay off employees. Others are barely hanging on wondering how much longer they can keep the lights on.
